Annual Town Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Town is a public meeting and is held sometime between 1st March and 1st June each year. This is not a Council meeting but is usually convened by the Council, with the Council’s Chairman presiding.  The meeting is an opportunity for local groups and organisations to highlight their activities over the past year, as well as outline any plans they have for the coming year.  Reports are also heard from the Chairman representing Soham Town Council, and from elected East Cambridgeshire District Council and County Council representatives.  The meeting is designed to allow any resident who wishes to participate to do so.
